PAIRS OF IMPERIAL GERMAN EPPAULETTES
Superb pair of Oberleutnants' Shoulder epaulettes of the extremely rare Saxon Garde Reiter heavy cavalry regiment. Gilded metal tops with ornate Baroque designed scales and shell form end with a single silver metal rank star on each. Padded mid blue showing little to no wear. One has some very small moth holes The other epaulette is perfect. Both epps with their gilded strap retainers with the Dresden makers mark on each... In over all very good / excellent condition. A rare pair of parade epaulettes in overall super condition.
Fine pair of Copper / brass 0R's / NCO's epaulettes from the 17th Saxon Ulan Regiment. ( Kaiser Franz Joseph von Osterreich Koenig von Ungarn ) . Metal tops with over laid scales designed and shell form end. each strap has an Imperial Austrian crown embossed into the ends as per the photos above. The metal tops to the epaulettes are in fine condition The blue bases have evidence of mothing, never the less these are an extremely scarce pair of Saxon Ulan parade epaulettes .
Pair parade epaulettes for an Officer in the 101st Grenadier Regiment Saxon No 2 Nr 101. Banjo type epaulettes with large gilded entwined letters WR 1 on silver wire weave base.. Bright scarlet underlay showing some staining, with no moth. Both metal retaining tabs to undersides of the epaulettes...two small holes to the rear of one eppaulette otherwise in very good condition. These epaulettes are very rare In their original ''Hast & Uhthhoff, Dresden'', storage box
Pair parade epaulettes for an Officer in the 105th Infantry regiment. ''Keonig Wilhelm 2nd von Wurttemberg'' Banjo type epaulettes with large gilded numerals 105 on silver wire weave base.. Bright scarlet underlay showing some staining, with no moth. Single metal retaining tab to underside.of one epaulette...very good condition. These epaulettes are rare In an original box.
Silver metal half moon ends Deep yellow felt base with the gilded regimental cypher for '' W.1' with gilded metal crown over . These insignia are of very high solid quality. Silver metal piped straps. Padded yellow bases with some very light wear and one moth bite to the rear of each. (see photos) . In overall very good / excellent condition. 4th Garde Regiment zu Fuss, Berlin. Plain Blue cloth uppers with no insignia ( as with most guards units ). Silver wire edge with black ( Prussian) stripes and copper / bronze half moon ends. Bright red bases ..some very light moth tracking to the epaulettes but no moth holes moth. undersides perfect . Last 1910 small elegant pattern.. Extremely rare and in very good condition. in their original carton marked L. Luttmann & Comr Berlin SW.… Also with small paper lable with officers name etc. These cases are very rare.

In their box with a Deutscher Offizier Verein. Berlin'' label to the lid. Although the central support in the box for the epaulettes is missing this is still a rare pair of scarce Infantry Majors nice quality epaulettes in their original box, in neat excellent condition.
