Many of following Imperial German Air Service and Imperial Naval Air Service flight badges were part of a major collection / estate gathered together by a Pan American Airways Pilot. I was fortunate enough to be in a situation where I obtained a considerable group of these badges

This indicates a war time service badge, (see page 1855 of Nimmerguts 'Deutsche Orden und Ehrenzeichen'. Smooth back great with four sewn on loops. Very high quality and rare badge with good patina. A classic original Naval Airs Service Air Gunner's badge of superb quality in the rare sew on pattern.

Extremely rare Hohenzollern award of the Adler der Inhaber. Gilded silver with black and white enamelled shield on its breast. Superb sharp detail and no damage. (The 'Adler der Ritter' medal is the one with the enameled eagle finish.) The enamel is excellent , the camera flash has produced the dots on the images. A rare medal with original long length of ribbon.
