S.14 WURTEMBERG CAVALRY DRAGOON NCO'S SWORD .
Typical Imperial German cavalry style handle with heavy quality State of Wurtemberg Wappen . Fixed basket. Plain straight blade by Eickorn ( good early double squirrel) approximately 32 1/2 inch ( 82 cm ) long pipe back blade. Blade in overall very good / excellent condition. Scabbard in good condition refinished black with two quite light ‘’carriage dents’’ . Overall very good, a scarce Wurttemberg OR’s cavalry sword.

S.17 SAXON EARLY 19TH CENTURY NAPOLEONIC PERIOD ULAN / HUSSAR OFFICERS SWORD.
Superb Saxon cavalry sword of the late Napoleonic era (1815). Brass jawless lion head sword handle with copper wire bound leather handle in very good condition, wire binding complete.Guard with a strongly raised early form of Saxon wappen. The langet is in the French style as are the hangers and throat.The Blade with fine blueing & gilding and silver for 2 / 3 of its length showing Saxon Wappen, stands of arms etc etc all in the early baroque form.The length of curved blade to approximately 32 inch or 82cm approx .98% of the original browing / blueing remains to the scabbard.Small 'ding' to the rear of Scabbard... Finish bright throughout .. An extremely rare sword of this early period of the Napoleonic Saxon army.. ( Its original Saxon sword hanging straps are available ) See page 95 of Blankwaffen aus drei Jahrhunderten.by Klaus Hilbert . the Saxon Wappen stands alone, later swords of similar form had the Saxon Wappen in a 'stand out ' oval Kartousch...not a shield, these were much earlier.... A very rare early 19th century Saxon Army officers sword.

S.17 A,,,,SAXON. EARLY 19TH CENTURY NAPOLEONIC PERIOD ULAN / HUSSAR OFFICERS ORIGINAL SWORD HANGER.
Extremely rare Napoleonic Period Saxon cavalry Officers sword sanger Silver wire covered leather hanging straps with Saxon green stripe to the centre of each strap. Mounted brass ( were probably originally gilded) Leather suspension straps to the rear with brass hangers in the original early configuration. Top hanging bar with its brass connecting piece. This sword hanger came with the above sword and I would prefer not to separate them .. A pair of extremely rare sword hanging straps of this early period of the Napoleonic Saxon army.. Extremely rare / hughly rare, much rarer than period swords.

Saxon cavalry sword. Brass jawless lion head sword handle with sharkskin handle. All wire binding complete.Gilded handle guard with Saxon Wappen. Iin circular cartush. Blade with very worn engraving showing Saxon Wappen entwined AR and other decorations, these extend about a quarter the length of the blade.. With 'Eisenhauer Blade 31 inch pipe back blade in fair / worn condition. Leather buffer and black refinished scabbard. A rare pattern sword . See Angolia Swords of Germany 1900- 1945 Page 449 for a similar sword. A rare sword in any condition.

S.24 PRUSSIAN 2nd GARDE ULAN REGIMENT DRESS SWORD.
Very scarce Second regiment Garde Ulan sword usual form, but with a very unusual wooden handle. Blade of considerable length 34 inches approx 87cm . Silvered Basket with heavy detail and fine quality. Unfortunately the sword is without a scabbard. The blade etched with military trophies Garde star and '2nd Garde Ulan Regt '. On the obverse the owners name ' Ulan Pretz' No edge knicks and with minor staining and some mild pitting to the lower end of the blade The original leather throat piece is still in place . A rare sword in fair condition, thus the lower price Still a very scarce Guard Ulan sword
