S.3 IMPERIAL PRUSSIAN INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD
An Imperial German officers 1889 standard pattern Infantry officers sword. black bakelite handle and the blade is about 22mm wide, double fuller high polish blade has some very light staining towards the lower end. There are no edge nicks and overall is in near excellent. condition.. Fixed.eagle basket grip of good heavy manufacture. complete with its original probably refinished scabbard. Overall in good / very good condition. A nice example of the standard Prussian Line Infantry officers sword.

S.3 IMPERIAL PRUSSIAN GARDE INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD
An Imperial German officers 1889 standard pattern Infantry officers sword. Sharkskin handle with two piece metal Garde insignia, all wire wrap in tact. The blade is interestingly marked on both sides of the blade obverse with ‘Deutscher Officer Verine Berlin’ and ‘WEYERSBERG Kirchbaum & Ice Solingen’ , It has a quite short 81cm (28in) and is about 22mm wide, double fuller high polish blade has some very light staining towards the lower end. One or two very minor edge nicks but otherwise near excellent... Fixed.eagle basket grip of notable heavy manufacture. Regrettably lacks a scabbard. Overall in good condition. A nice example of the scarce Prussian Garde Infantry officers sword.

S.4 IMPERIAL PRUSSIAN INFANTRY OFFICERS ' LUXUS 'SWORD’ with HORN HANDLE
An Imperial German officers 1889 pattern sword. ‘Very Rare’ HORN handle ( a German collector has suggested that it may be from a Jaeger Regiment ) with gilt crowned WR2 insignia, all wire wrap in tact. There is damage to the top of the Horn Handle and the horn itself has shrunk a little. The blade is marked with Eickhorn double squirrel The blade is 81cm (32in) long and is about 22mm wide, double fuller high polish blade has some staining but otherwise undamaged and excellent... Fixed.eagle basket grip of again heavy manufacture Blackened scabbard with a minor dings . Overall in good condition. The sword retaining splint is not present An good example of the unusual horn handled Infantry officers sword With a few minor issues thus the splendid price.

A very long and fine Infantry officers 'light' sword. Standard Infantry sword.with Luxus pattern handle with gilded oakleaves foliage etc.etc.. Black bakalite handle with applied usual WR2 wappen. All wire binding completePlain double fuller blade by Z in acrowned shield ( Clemen &Jung) 33 inch 84cm long Only 10mm in width in excellent condition., Original scabbard to the sword but shows a small gap to the throat. A good looking and very elegant Infantry Officers walking out sword with a ''LUXUS'' hIghly decorated handle. The scabbard is single ringed ( has two bands) as is proper with a later sword, iA few dings ( Carriage door types ) to the lower end of the scabbard. and has been well refinished . A scarce and very attractive infantry Officers.sword.....

S.8. PRUSSIAN 16TH ULAN REGIMENT EXTRA QUALITY DRESS SWORD.
Scarce 16th Regiment Ulan sword usual form, of considerable length ..32 inches, approx 82cm . Excellent pipe back blade with Silvered folding metal Basket with superb detail and quality. Black bakelite handle with light chipping to the lower end. With a polished steel scabbard. ( could be silver plate? The blade etched in very clear and high quality lettering foliage etc etc.with military trophies and 16th Ulan Regiment ‘’Ulan Regt Hennings von Treffenfeld No 16….. On the obverse, the owners name ‘’Ulan Jens 1, Escadron ‘‘.and on the edge of the blade etched laurel leaves and foliage On the reverse in German script is In memory of my service time, ( ‘Zur ’erinnerung an miner Dienstzeit’’ ) The blade is mirror bright ( and thus difficult to photograph ) A rare sword in overall very good near excellent condition, one of the best swords I have..
